The Government are currently offering grants of about £400.00 off certain renewable products, but are insisting that other measures are taken 1st.
i.e. loft insulation of at least 270mm, cavity wall insulation, low energy light bulbs and basic control of the heating system.
While this is of course a sensible approach to any energy saving measures, we have decided because of the complexity of the paperwork claim forms etc, to bypass this grant and instead price ourselves lower than a grant assisted installation, while still offering quality products and a great service.
V.A.T. though is reduced to 5% on energy efficient installations.
