Thermomax solar collectors convert direct and diffused solar radiation into heat. Infrared rays which can pass through clouds are converted into usable heat. This means these collectors are very efficient and can generate plenty of hot water even in the dull overcast days here in the U.K.
High quality insulation in the manifold ensures minimal heat loss.
The type of panel we supply are the DF100 Direct Flow Collector.
The special design of this collector, enables the collector to be sited on a flat roof, sloping roof, or on a wall.
These panels are considered to be 30% more efficient than the Chinese imports.

These Chinese evacuated tubes (heat pipe technology) have been tested and approved to EN12975 standard, the tubes are readily available (standard item) they have proven reliable, and excellent value for money, they are obviously lower spec than the Thermomax panels and are assumed to be about 30% less efficient.
